Atho’ Ullah-Jakarta, Siapa yang tak kenal dengan kata korupsi? Ya, korupsi merupakan tidak kejahatan yang paling populer di Indonesia dikalangan politikus negara, sampai saat ini meskipun banyak aparat/instansi pemerintah yang bertindak sebagai pemberantasan terhadap korupsi seperti: Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK), Polisi, Kejaksaan Agung (KEJAGUNG) dan Pengadilan Tindak Pidana Korupsi (TIPIKOR), tapi kesemua instansi tersebut memiliki tugas sedikit berbeda yang hampir sama. Hanya saja yang paling ngetop dan paling efektif dalam memberantas tikus-tikus kantor saat ini adalah KPK.
Korupsi merupakan tindak pidana yang merugikan negara baik dalam bentuk material maupun non-material, namun mayoritas bahkan 98% korupsi di Indonesia bersifat material dalam hal ini adalah UANG, UANG dan UANG. Status terbaru tentang koruptor di Indonesia saat ini adalah Gayus Tambunan, dia adalah seorang Pegawai Negeri Sipil yang bergolong III/a dalam sebuah instansi pemerintah yakni Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DIRJEN PAJAK) yang menggelapkan uang negara kurang lebih sekitar Rp.25 Milyar yang berada dalam rekening disalah satu bank di Indonesia yang beratas namakan dirinya sebagai pemilik. Itu masih belum cukup, banyak kejanggalan-kejanggalan lainnya seputar harta yang dimilikinya yang ditenggarai hasil dari korupsinya seperti Rumah yang ditaksir Rp. 1,5 Milyar, Apartemen di Singapura dan di Indonesia dan masih banyak yang lainnya yang masih belum terungkap. Pasalnya Gayus Tambunan ini dalam menjalankan kejahatannya tidak sendirian, melainkan banyak pihak-pihak atau pejabat-pejabat lain yang membantu memperlancar aksinya tersebut, Sungguh ironis kekompakan mereka dalam menjalankan tugas yang hina yang mendustakan amanat rakyat dalam menngelapkan uang rakyat yang diperoleh melalui tagihan yang mengatas namakan pajak terhadap negara.
